Teaching
Classes may include a bible study, special trade, or an instructed class. The instructor could be scheduled for once a week. Consistency is very important for the program to succeed. Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly classes are ideal. |
The Mentor Program
A place to come and meet with one of our women weekly. Mentors will seek to provide guidance and encouragment during the weekly session. The hope is to identify learning opportunities for her and provide her with new ideas. During this time, she can be provided with helpful resources. The mentor will get the chance to share personal experiences and perspectives. In the end we seek for the program to build lasting relationships and moments of growth for both the mentor and the mentoree. |
Skills & Talents
Specifically: The house, yard, and gardens are maintained by volunteers. Tasks such as mowing the yard, pulling weeds, cleaning, organizing the storage room, and minor maintenance needs around the house are done by our volunteers. Yard maintenance is a great task for large groups looking for a volunteer project. |
